Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” -Matthew 28: 18-20
It was a perfect season-ender for the disciplinary series of >2 last September 21 with speaker Kuya CJ Bautista. A stunning attendance of 37 shaken the hall with beautiful praises led by the ICHTUS band.
Something different came in while the news and updates were being announced, it was Megatron (Kuya Jimbo) and Optimus Prime (Kuya EA) hitting the >2 fellowship since it was the “Transformers” episode. Another moment came in, when it was Ate Roo’s last >2 before she goes to Finland, the crowd really got sentimental that Ate Roo had to leave us for a while. (*sniff*)
Later on our Work it, everybody mastered their sales talk and wacky ideas to promote a SCREW and a PEN CAP. It got really quirky, and lots of ideas were served to satisfy the panels (which were Ate Roo, Kuya Jars, Kuya Arby and Hannah). They were looking for keywords corresponding the given items for the four groups. One group even became successful for creating the corniest joke ever! Oh di ba, SCREWsyal!
For the Word Up, Kuya CJ led the flame of the fellowship by discussing on how God works with us on sharing the Gospel. His talk elaborates about how Christians transform others and some difficulties that Christians encounter along the way. Giving the final thought of “become Transformers by transforming lives through Jesus Christ.”
Preparing for the Worthwhile, the crowd heard a sound play from some of our >2ers. Everyone grouped themselves and started the discussion about the feelings evoked through them while listening to the sound play. Ending each small group discussion through a prayer for all of the workers and missionaries.
After having a handful of these activities, there’s still energy left to sing everyone’s favorite song, the >2 Theme Song and another round of prayer and praise.
This has been an affirmation for us Christians to go and Transform!
KEEP COMING BACK, GOD IS HERE WITH US!
